 Overview: Anubis is a courageous dog, she's courageous because when she was younger most of her friends were boys so she would always try to keep up with them. They’d dare her to do things that would scare a pup at her age but her being determined to show them up, she did them.This built up her her fear tolerance.Her mother would always encourage her not to be afraid and to act on what her instincts told her to do. Not only is she courageous but she's empathetic. At an early age she was exposed to her mother’s and others empathy either towards people in need or her and her mother. She empathizes quite easily and can often offer comfort to those in need. Another trait Anubis picked up was observing people and finding small details about them. Often noticing little ticks such as scraping their paws against the sand, or a twitch of an eyebrow if someone is lying. She just enjoyed watching and picking up theses signals, or ticks as she calls them. With the patience of watching other dogs and how they behave she gained a sense of calmness to her. Sometimes she can be calm to the point where it seems as if she's detached from life and floating in her own little world. From a young age she learned to rely on herself, especially when her stepfather came into her life, even more so than. She became more individualistic when her stepfather would exclude her from dinner or keep her from her mother and siblings. She grew to figure it out on her own and not sit and wonder what she would do. Unfortunately Anubis began to suffer from self conscious issues when her stepfather began mistreating her. Often times than not she would find herself alone, thinking about what she did wrong to make him hate her so much. This only grew and she began being more self conscious around others too, worrying that they wouldn't like her or hate the way she looked and never hang out with her. This self consciousness lead to her envious trait as well, she envies how dogs have friends and their ranks and how proud of themselves they are. All she wants is to be like them, have the great friends they have and they're rank and be proud of herself. For now she's stuck envying them from afar. Anubis loves to give her opinion on just about anything, and most of the time she thinks she's right unless convinced otherwise. Anubis would always argue with her friends and she would often prove them wrong so she got into the habit of being right. So she often is quite opinionated. Anubis can be passive aggressive instead of outright being aggressive. When she becomes angry and she find that being passive aggressive about her behavior makes other react. Anubis loves to watch how dogs react to her passive aggressive. Anubis can get to be vindictive and that generally brings on her passive aggressiveness. She's vindictive because she loves to get even with dogs who upset her or her loved ones.

 = Background Information = 

Anubis’s mother was a Doberman and her father was a Rottweiler. Her mother was quite young when she had Anubis, she was the only pup in her litter. Her mother, Amelia wasn't the smartest of dogs and had thought Anubis was a boy for the first couple days of her life. Amelia didn’t change Anubis’s name because she thought it was a good strong name for the pup. Anubis grew up with only her mother, and throughout the first couple months of her life she lived in many different packs of dogs. Her mother and herself were staying with a pack when Amelia met another dog. Not long after Amelia and the dog, Martin were mates. Martin being Anubis’s stepfather. Anubis didn't mind the new dog being her father and he seemed quite nice. But once Amelia had another litter, this time with 3 pups Martin began ignoring her. Anubis would desperately try and get his attention. She would try and play with him but he’d become hostile and nip and growl at her. Anubis stopped trying to get his attention and soon enough Martin became hostile to her whenever her mother wasn’t around. He’d beat her up at times. He even took her to the pack shaman and had her ears cropped and her tail docked. He knew this would be excruciatingly painful and he did it in hopes that she would leave. After that Anubis started hanging out with her friends longer and often staying over at her friend’s dens. She didn't have many friends, just three. The 2 males were Osiris and Apollo, and the female was Avery. Osiris and Apollo always dared Anubis things they weren't supposed to do. Of course Anubis complied and would often get in trouble which would end in a beating from her so called stepfather. Avery felt sorry for her friend and would often try and comfort her when she came to them the next day with cuts and a swollen eye. Once Anubis turned one she began growing more and maturing. She started feeling attractions towards the girls in her pack. She was very confused and ashamed of herself. Her and Avery began talking more and getting to know each other deeper than just friends. They soon became best friends. Still friends with Osiris and Apollo, they all became the rebellious punks of the pack. Avery and Anubis confessed their attractions to each other and decided to go steady. They kept it a secret knowing the pack would shun or even kill them if they found out. One night after saying goodbye to Avery, Martin had noticed how affectionate they were and when Anubis returned she was beaten. Martin went to Amelia and had told her what had happened. He was so infuriated with her that he went to the pack leader and told him. Outraged, the pack leader sent guards to kill them. Anubis had caught word and had gotten Avery. The two planned to run away together. They ran out into the night with the guards chasing close behind. They got pretty far until one of the fastest guards had begun to gain on them. Anubis frantically tried to get Avery to run faster but her legs were tired. The guard ended up pouncing on Avery and began attacking her. Avery fought back but in the end the larger, stronger dog won. Conflicted, Anubis slowed down to try and help but when she saw her love already dead she sped off away from the guards. Running deeper and deeper into the desert.
